This ministry without any doubt was formed by divine providence. It was birthed through our Apostle, Dr. Viola Joy Hunter. Initially she only wanted to set up prayer for a support system for a business called the Inheritance Group (IG), of which Dr. Viola joy hunter was one of the founding members.

Apostle Viola asked for the assistance of our late Pastor Barbara Ann Brooks to pray for the success of the business.  These members, along with team Leader Deborah Walker began without a name.  

The apostle was inspired to have a way to invite other interested members to join them in prayers. She immediately called pastor Barbara and told her the plan and she was willing to help. After confirming, blessings, and words of encouragement she said yes!

They both prayed a prayer of acceptance and dedication for the line. In the spirit of agreement, they committed everything to the Lord and became partners in this endeavor.

They were inspired to begin each morning at 6:00 o'clock AM for half an hour. Little did we know then that this was the first prayer watch of the day which expanded to an hour. Neither of us knew how to set up a prayer line, but by God's divine Providence Apostle’s Goddaughter Celita just happened to stop by and she shared the plan with her and she knew exactly what to do. She set up the Free conference line for us. We now had a number and an access code for anyone who wanted to join the prayer at 6:00 AM. Which has now expanded to an hour. This ministry began that Friday, October 10, 2008, they both called in about 5 minutes before time to begin our first prayer at 6:00 AM.  The Lord gave us a name of Faith and Minister Edwina King was inspired to add Believers.  It became Faith Believers Prayer Group International.

A short time later, her Goddaughter, Celita, Adela Aggression, and Pastor Ora joined us on a regular basis. Pastor William Hunter, Elder Joe Regis, and the late brother Willie key were the first men to join the ministry. What a blessing to have brothers on the line with us some mornings there were as many as 10 at one time. Hallelujah!

We were on the move. It wasn't long before we knew this prayer line was a special assignment from the Kingdom. It wasn't just about IG (Inheritance Group) as we initially thought, the word began to spread and to God be praised, we are still here 15 years later! God has been faithful, and we give Him all the glory.

The Lord has expanded this ministry and we have callers from across the Nation and Internationally. We now have a website, www.faithbelieversprayergroup.com, we are on Facebook and the YouTube channel, we have a healthy Wednesday segment, and a Men’s Day to pray. We have a prayer retreat by-annually! A Mothers’ group and a Prayer list that includes sick, shut-ins, bereaved list, those in prison, those under addiction and broken relationships. And along with Faith Believers other ministries have branched out: LeadingLadies4Christ, New Beginnings Deliverance Outreach Ministries, and Eyes on Christ Ministries. All under the umbrella of Faith Deliverance Tabernacle. We now have a new number to call in, no access code needed, 253-993-3708.  “To God be all the glory!”  This is our Motto because we keep Him first.
